This is the story of the brave men who in 1942 flew to Norway to blow up the German factory that was producing heavy water—a component of a nuclear bomb.
Sadly this operation failed and many of the men lost their lives.
This presentation has been compiled by Dr Tocher who is a military historian and has carried out much research on the subject, even tracing many descendants of the original crew.
He will be visiting Scotland at the end of the month.
If you would like to attend please email firstname.lastname@example.org to book a seat.
There will be a small charge of £3 on the night to cover costs.
